If anyone is interested, on this date 132 years ago, Lt. Col. G.A. Custer and 262 men of the U.S. 7th Cav. were killed in action in an engagement against hostile Sioux and Cheyenne Indians near the Little Big Horn river in the Montana Territory.
It was once said that Lt. Col. Custer made the statement that with the 7th he could ride through the entire Sioux nation. Well he was half right, he made it half way through.............
